A herd of Boer goats — predominantly chestnut-brown with long floppy ears and curved horns, along with several brown-and-white and solid dark individuals — mill about in front of a corrugated metal run-in shelter at dusk. A large golden shade sail stretches overhead, casting soft shadow across the hay-covered ground. Desert mountains ridge the horizon under a pale evening sky, and metal panel fencing frames the dusty yard on either side.
