Retail Charity
A $100 Lowe’s eGift card sends $4 to the animals. A $5,000 family cruise sends $650 to the animals. All it costs you is 29¢ in processing when you pay with your bank account — that’s the kind of leverage you can’t buy. Except you can.
Through our partnership with RaiseRight, over 750 major brands donate a percentage of every gift card purchase directly to Steampunk Farms Rescue Barn. You buy the gift card, use it to pay for your normal purchase, and the brand funds the animals. That’s it.

How It Works
Buy a Gift Card
Open the RaiseRight app or website. Search for the store you're about to visit. Buy an eGift card for the amount you plan to spend.
Shop Normally
At checkout, show the eGift card barcode from your phone or enter the code online. Pay for your purchase exactly as you would with any gift card.
Animals Get Fed
The brand sends 1.5% to 16% of the card value directly to Steampunk Farms. RaiseRight charges a small processing fee — just 29¢ per checkout when you pay with your bank account. That 29¢ can turn into $5, $12, or more for the animals.

Common Questions
Does this cost me anything extra?
You pay the exact face value of the eGift card — a $100 Lowe's card costs $100 and is worth $100 at the register. The rebate comes from the brand, not your pocket. RaiseRight does charge a small processing fee per checkout: 29¢ when you pay from your bank account (secure ACH), 1% with a debit card, or 3% with a credit card. The bank account option is by far the best deal — whether you buy 1 eGift card or 15 in a single checkout, you pay just 29¢ total. That 29¢ on a $100 Bath & Body Works trip turns into $12 for the animals. That's the kind of leverage you can't buy — except you can, every time you shop.
Should I use my credit card to earn rewards on top of this?
We'd recommend paying with your bank account instead. The credit card processing fee is 3%, which can eat into — or even cancel out — credit card reward points. With bank pay, you're only paying 29¢ per checkout no matter how many cards you buy. A mom buying eGift cards for the grocery store, the gas station, and this week's Target run in one checkout still pays just 29¢. Every penny of the rebate goes straight to the animals.
Do I have to change where I shop?
Not at all. RaiseRight has 750+ brands covering groceries, gas, dining, clothing, home improvement, travel, entertainment, and more. If you shop there today, there's almost certainly a gift card for it.
How fast do I get the eGift card?
Most eGift cards are delivered instantly to your RaiseRight Wallet. You can buy one in the parking lot and use it 30 seconds later. Physical gift cards can be shipped to your home or ordered through our coordinator.
Is RaiseRight safe and legitimate?
RaiseRight (formerly ShopWithScrip) has been the #1 gift card fundraising platform for over 25 years, serving thousands of schools, churches, and nonprofits across the country. It's trusted by millions of families.
How do I get our enrollment code?
Fill in the short form above and we'll email you a link with our code already built in — you shouldn't need to type anything. RaiseRight asks organizations to share their code person to person rather than post it publicly, which is why it isn't printed on this page. It usually arrives within a minute; if it doesn't, email thebarn@steampunkfarms.org and Krystal will send it by hand.
Can I buy multiple gift cards at once?
Absolutely — and it's the smartest way to do it. The 29¢ bank-pay fee is charged per checkout, not per card. So if you're prepping for the week and buy an eGift card for Safeway, one for Starbucks, and one for Target all in one go, you pay 29¢ total and the animals get the full rebate from every single card. Sunday night batch-buying is a game changer.
