UPDATE Jan 9th: The pine pellet project is officially out of pellets… and the mud is feeling emboldened. 😬🌧️
We have no new, cute stories or pretty pictures of pine-pellet success today—because every single donated bag has already been bought and deployed!
What we do have is evidence:
Sylvester’s muddy hooves, plus Krystal’s boots that were… well… claimed by the darkness and abandoned to our very own Swamp of Sadness. 🫣
It was either the boots, or Krystal’s hip joints.
The boots lost. 🥾💀
We need a minimum of 50 more bags to keep absorbing standing water and raising the worst flood zones back up to ground level.
